Background

Formed in 2006, T4C brings together the voices of Josh Lee, Victor Chua and Tom Tan, 3 individuals who come from very diverse singing backgrounds. Josh was lead singer for the gospel rock band, Joshua Race in the nineties. Victor has been singing pop to broadway numbers since his days with the Selangor Philharmonic Choir and Tom Tan was a principal member of the Canticle Singers which specialises in hymnal music. As T4C, they bring powerful renditions of inspired music in the veins of Il Divo and Andrea Bocelli.

Since inception they have sung at churches throughout Malaysia and charitable events for organizations like HIV Hope, Crown Financial Ministry and most recently for World Vision, Grace's Rumah Kids Annual Concert and World Outreach. They hope to touch lives and bring hope through their music.

Apart from charity, they have also been favorites in the wedding circuit with their beautiful renditions of all-time favourites such as "The Lord's Prayer", "The Prayer" and so on.

They were called The Three Tenors and Il Divo amongst other names. Their semi lyrical and operatic vocals made it hard for people to not call them that. Individually, they stand out, even as they tame the most unforgiving of songs. But together, they never fail to leave their audiences in complete astonishment and delight.

The Trio

Tom is the only trained tenor amongst the three. Though a little petite, Tom can rise to the occassion with his booming voice that often floods the auditorium at will and ease. Tom pretty much takes care of the main melody as his voice allows him that capacity of being the backbone of the tri-party. You can always be sure it’s Tom holding the main melody when the crescendo sets in. Prior to this, Tom sang with the highly esteemed Canticle Singers for quite a few seasons.

Victor's is that typical velvet of a voice that you normally hear in broadway productions and animation theme songs. Versatile in most styles, he can fashionably get away with any folk number. When it comes to the upper register, and the falsetto must be summoned, Victor is in his element. In the earlier days, you would see Victor in theatrical and broadway performances. Apart from singing, Victor is also an established song writer. In fact, he wrote the theme song for the 1998 SUKOM games. Incidentally, he is also the 2nd son of Datuk Chua Jui Meng's five children.

Josh fills the space between Tom and Victor, vocally speaking. His mid range vocals sparkle with brilliance when hitting the high notes and reverberates when singing the supporting lower harmonies. Either way, he's more than happy to accompany his two fellow tenors. Josh was the lead singer for Joshua Race, the hit youth band of the mid 90's. Josh was also a sought after worship leader and musician at FGA before stepping down to focus on campus ministries and T4C.

Their Story

Tom is by the way, also the only single among the three. He is highly recommended by Victor and Josh. "Tom is a very nice guy and would make an awesome husband. He is also a hit with the kids," says Tom : ) Victor and Josh could not agree more.

Victor is married to Sharon and together have two beautiful daughters with one more bundle of joy on the way.

Josh is married to Milian and have 3 beautiful children together.

Their Faith

Tom, Victor and Josh came to know the Lord in their early years and have served in various ministries prior to T4C. Although from very different backgrounds, all the three men love the Lord. They want nothing more than to be in the ministry of saving the lost and encouraging the saints. All three have devoted their lives to serve their beloved Saviour. T4C acknowledges that their voices are God's gifts to them. That's why they can't see it any other way than to give it back to God in service to His people and the lost.
